Recognizing this need, Global Student Solutions (GSS) developed the Global Ambassador program to provide students with real world experiences to put their academic knowledge into practice. Our internships are designed similarly to independent study courses at universities, offering flexibility and personalized learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Research international university admissions trends and career readiness.
  • Draft educational blog posts, toolkits, and resource guides.

  • Strong writing and research skills.
  • Familiarity with global education or interest in international student life.

Podcast & Media Production Intern (Global Student Voices)

Are you a podcast lover with editing chops and a global mindset?
Join the production team behind Global Student Voices, a podcast amplifying international student stories and insights from education leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in editing and publishing podcast episodes (audio/video).
  • Write show notes, episode summaries, and social media captions.
  • Create short video/audio clips for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts.
  • Help identify guests and research talking points.
  • Track listener engagement and analytics

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with podcast editing tools (Audacity, Descript, Adobe, etc.).
  • Strong communication and storytelling instincts.
  • Interest in media, global education, or student advocacy.

GSS is building a digital platform to connect global students — and we need your skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Help design and build a prototype of the Global Student Network mobile app.
  • Collaborate with the team to define features and user experience
  • Work with backend tools and APIs for profiles, messaging, and events.
  • Test and debug across devices.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, or similar).
  • Understanding of UX/UI and wireframing.
  • Creative problem-solver with an eye for design.
  • Passionate about building technology with a social impact.

Do you enjoy networking and connecting with others? This internship is perfect for communicators with a global impact mindset. Help GSS connect with international schools, educators, and potential sponsors for our podcast and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Research international schools by region and add to CRM or database.
  • Draft personalized outreach emails and partnership proposals.
  • Track communication history and support follow-ups.
  • Identify relevant school trainings and events or professional development opportunities.
  • Assist in creating sponsorship packages for the Global Student Voices podcast.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Organized and comfortable with outreach.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Interest in education, global partnerships, or nonprofit development.

Compensation:

Unpaid, with performance-based bonus opportunities.

We have seen how valuable work experience is in applying to college and for jobs later! GSS staff enjoy mentoring students as they develop their talents and skills in a wide variety of practical areas. Students gain experience and GSS gains fresh new ideas that fuel our success.

What is your approach?
  1. Personalized Planning: I start by meeting with each intern to discuss their dreams, aspirations, and the skills and experiences they want to add to their resumes.
  2. Vision Alignment: During our conversation, I share the vision and mission of GSS and explore how these align with the intern’s goals.
  3. Goal Setting: If we decide to move forward, we collaboratively set measurable goals, define projects, and establish a timeline for the internship.
  4. Remote Work: Our entire organization operates remotely, eliminating additional expenses and making the internship accessible without any fees.
  5. Ongoing Support: Throughout the internship, we provide continuous mentorship and support, ensuring that interns gain meaningful experience and achieve their objectives.
Are your internships paid?

All internships are unpaid, however, sales and outreach type roles have potential earnings based on performance.

Does GSS offer affiliate marketing?

Can I earn credit?

Yes, we can structure your internship to build your resume and work with your school to earn credit as well.
